The Crucible - October 30

Mills High School

 Production Notes

Mr. Hudelson's Home Office, where the production was mixed.

Working on this play has been a fascinating process, one I never attempted before. Luckily, the technology was available and easy to learn. I had a four track analog mixer as a teen. Today, I have a software program called MixPad that records unlimited tracks, imports and exports files. and allows for music and effects to be blended in seamlessly.

Yet, it's the human element that has made this production memorable. Our students truly poured their hearts into the audio performance, and they researched, rehearsed, and gave of their time to log back into Zoom and meet with yet another school group. Our Viking performers LOVE Theater, and they choose to share that love with you, the audience. I would like to thank my incredibly dedicated student-actors and the Drama Guild for their suppoprt. Also, a special thanks goes out to the talented Mills Viking alumna, Elana Hershman. Her volunteer leadership gave our student-performers insights they will use for a lifetime. Elana, a recent UCLA Drama grad, shared many of her on-point notes and excercises with the show. It is great to see our Viking peformers giving back to the community and to the arts.  --Mr. Hudelson
