Minooka Community High School

 End Notes

NOTES FROM THE CHOREOGRAPHER:

Seniors, it has been a privilege to know and work with you while watching you grow into accomplished young adults.   You have proven yourselves as both performers and individuals. I have relied on your leadership, commitment and professionalism throughout our time together and you have never disappointed me. Thank you; I will miss each of you.

Featured dancers, it has been a pleasure working with you.  Your enthusiasm and positive attitudes have been consistent throughout rehearsals.  Thank you for your willingness to try new things and incorporate new steps, allowing me to create dances that are distinctly yours.  Smile, you have earned it.

To all cast members, Congratulations!  This production has been extremely challenging on many levels, and you have selflessly risen to those challenges. Performing different choreographies within the same dance is not an easy task, but you have done it. Your willingness to dedicate so many hours to learning the dances, then adjusting them because of other elements- puppets, costumes. etc., has shown your commitment to theatre and your willingness to do everything it takes to create a professional production. I am proud of each of you and proud to be your choreographer. Thank you.

Parents,  Thank you for allowing me to share my passion for dance with your children.  Watching their faces from the time they begin to believe in themselves through the realization they have accomplished the dance is a gift I will always cherish.

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR:

Cast, crew, and pit orchestra members—Thank you for your very hard work and devotion to the success of this show. You persevered through all of our weather-maggedon disruptions and kept your focus on delivering magical performances. I am so proud of each an every one of you.

Parents, thank you so much for sharing your sons and daughters with us for the past several months. I hope you are pleased with the final product of our hard work.

Seniors, what amazing men and women you have grown into through the memorable characters you have portrayed.  I hope you cherish the special memories from Les Miserables, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and The Addams Family along with those you have made bringing Disney’s The Little Mermaid to life. Thank you for letting me be part of your world across the last few years and for the privilege of getting to watch you grow, year by year, into the immensely talented and mature leaders you are. Your talent, and the poise and confidence that you have gained on this stage, or managing the soundboard, or expertly utilizing the power tools that brought four sets to fruition will carry you far in life. All my best wishes for great success on your life journey!”
