Theatre Etiquette

 

Above all, it is important to remember that the actors on stage can see and hear you at the same time you can see and hear them. Please, be respectful of the actors and your fellow audience members by being attentive and observing the general guidelines below.


• There is no food or drinks allowed in the theatre.
• There is no flash photography as it will distract the actors.
• The videotaping or other video or audio recording of this production is strictly
prohibited.
• All cellphones and electronic devices must be turned off once entering the theatre.
• Visit the restroom before the performance begins. Unless there is an emergency, plan to stay seated during the performance.
• Keep aisles clear for performers and other audience members.
• There is no reentering the theatre without your purchased ticket stub.
• Wait until intermission to search through your purse or bag. You may be making more noise than you think.
• Please do not talk when performers are on stage. DO laugh or applaud in support of the show.
• Please do not distract performers on stage as they are trying to put on a good show for your enjoyment.
• There is no food or drinks allowed in the theatre.
