  • Aidan Bjortvedt

    as Young Shrek, Baby Bear, Dish Puppet

    As a 5th grader, Aidan is excited to be joining the cast of Shrek the Musical. Aiden has performed at the Garden Theater as Oliver in Oliver!, a Munchkin in the Wizard of Oz, and Jack in Into the Woods. He enjoys participating in school productions and playing the piano. Aiden would like to thank his family, especially his grandparents for their support in following his love of music and theater.

  • Moriah White

    as Mama Ogre, Rafiki, Duloc Dancer, Voice of Dragon, Tap-Dancing Rat

    Currently in her senior year at Montverde Academy, Moriah has been seen in the roles Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Cat in the Hat in Seussical, and Baker's Wife in Into the Woods here at MVA. She is a co-president of ITS, vice-president of Tri-M, and is graduating with a VPA diploma in vocal music this spring. She would like the thank her parents for all the support they have graciously given her and for never giving up on her. She would also like the thank her teachers and mentors Mr. Connelly and Mr. Ahern for helping her in her performance goals these past four years.

  • Aubrey Connelly

    as Papa Ogre

    Aubrey Connelly spent many years as a working musician and teacher in Columbus, Ohio and at Ohio State University. He received the Presidential Award of Excellence for High School Musicians before moving to Central Florida and earning his degree in music from Rollins College. Mr. Connelly has been the choir teacher and Fine Arts Department Chair for Montverde Academy since 2004.

  • Alia Rodriguez

    as Young Fiona, Chicken Little, Grassland

    As a 5th grader, Alia is proud to be a part of Shrek the Musical. Alia has performed in many Lower School productions and as Bagheera in Jungle Book at MVA's Drama Camp. Alia enjoys performing, singing, playing the piano/violin, and volunteering. Alia would like to thank Mrs.Holton, Ms.Cunningham, and Mr.Connelly, for recognizing her talent, and her supportive parents.
