GABRIELLA ACQUAFREDDA (Miss Andrew, Statue, Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of her second musical production at Mount Sinai High School! She was previously seen in Grease (Radio Voice, Ensemble) and 26 Pebbles (Carla). She wants to thank her family and friends for their unending support, and to wish the best of luck to all the cast and crew.
SHANNON AULETTA (Statue, Ensemble, Dance Captain) is excited to take the stage in this amazing production of Mary Poppins! Shannon is a sophomore at Mount Sinai High School and has a passion for theatre. Shannon has been in several shows including Grease (Rizzo), High School Musical (Kelsi), Cinderella (Evil Stepmother), Legally Blonde (Enid Hoops), Grease (Patty Simcox), and Alice in Wonderland (March Hare). She has been acting for about nine years and was very thankful for being able to participate in SCMEA for the past three years. Shannon has had an amazing experience throughout the production of Mary Poppins and hopes that everyone in the cast "breaks a leg”!
DMITRII BELOGUBOV (Ensemble) was born in Ukraine and moved to Moscow in third grade. While there he participated in such school activities as Poems Battle and skiing. He was also on the school Soccer Team and Volleyball Team. Last November he and his family moved to Long Island. This is his first show.
NICOLAS CARBONE (Neleus, Ensemble) is very excited to perform Mary Poppins for everyone. He cannot wait for you all to see what an amazing job the cast can do. He has been in other shows including Almost, Maine (Dave), The Wizard of Oz (The Scarecrow), Alice in Wonderland (The Mad Hatter), 26 Pebbles (Chris), and Grease (Teen Angel). He hopes you all have an amazing time watching the show.
JUSTYN CARRERAS (Admiral Boom, Ensemble) is electrified to be performing in Mary Poppins! After starring as Danny Zuko in Grease, he is looking forward to taking on a new role in his second theatrical production. Although this is Justyn’s final high school drama club performance, he is enthusiastic to continue his artistic endeavors in college by studying music. Justyn has already released multiple original songs under the stage name Justyn Cairo. He would like to thank his mom for supporting him.
DANIELLE CAVALIER (Fannie, Ensemble, Dance Captain) is excited to be a part of her first high school musical production. She has been a competitive dancer for six years. She would like to thank the cast and crew for welcoming her and for creating such an enjoyable experience.
CAMRYN CHAMBERLAIN (Children's Ensemble) is a seventh grade student who is passionate about so many things. She loves her family, friends, sports, music, art, and being involved in her school and community. This is her first time being part of a theater program, and she very much looks forward to seeing where it takes her.
GAVIN CODE (Mr. Banks) performs EFFERVESCENTLY during his fourteenth theatrical production! This is the finale of his high school theater career and, although he is sad to say goodbye, he is incredibly thankful for the part drama had in shaping him. Select credits include Rump (Grease), Chad (Almost, Maine), Juror Eleven (12 Angry Men), and Grandpa Joe (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Gavin would like to thank his parents for being especially supportive and helpful in theatre and all his activities.
LEAH DASILVA (Children's Ensemble, Jane Banks understudy) is thrilled to be a part of Mary Poppins! She is eleven years old and became interested in musical theatre in the fourth grade. Leah loves to play the violin, sing in the chorus and dance. She has been in The Music Man Jr. (Gracie Shin), Peter Pan Jr. (Brave Girl), and can be seen this Spring as Miss Muffet in the Middle School production of The Big Bad Musical. Leah attends Theatrics and can be seen this June as Corny Collins-Hairspray in A Night at the Tony's. She would like to thank her family for all of their love and support. Leah says, "Remember my name, you'll be seeing more of me!" Enjoy the Show!
