Hannah Bradford graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education with studies in Vocal/Choral. Hannah has been conducting choirs, musicals, and children’s theater groups since she was fifteen years old in Huntsville, Alabama where she was raised. She has been a part of several different musical theater programs herself with shows such as Annie, the Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Lil’ Abner, Chorus Linebackers tour, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and many more. Lead roles that Hannah has acted include Cinderella in Cinderella, Miss Minchin in The Little Princess, Courtney in Chorus Linebackers musical tour, The Little Prince in The Little Prince. She participated in her high school choir for four years along with community chorus groups such as UAH’s Greater Huntsville Youth Choir and Madison County Honor Choir. She received the award for the Outstanding Choral Student for District V for the 2006-2007 year. During her time at UNA, she performed with the UNA Collegiate Singers, UNA Chamber Ensemble, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. UNA gave Hannah the opportunity to participate in opera and music theater scenes such as Papagena in The Magic Flute and Julie Jordan in Carousel.
In 2010, she founded and directed the Shoals Kids Choir. She taught ages three through 8th grade music classes at Riverhill Elementary and Middle School in St. Florian. She also directed the Show Choir at Harlan Elementary School in Florence, AL. In the summer of 2012, she directed the show choir at the Boys and Girls Club as well as the show choir for the Summer Camp K-6th grade students of Muscle Shoals. She owned and opened Renana Studios, L.L.C. in Downtown Florence to teach private music lessons.
Hannah loves working with the Muscle Shoals High School students directing the Chorus, Show Choir, Trojan Singers, Trojan Trebles, and the Drama Department. At Muscle Shoals, she has directed musicals such as Hairspray Jr, Annie Jr, and Les Miserables. Hannah also enjoyed taking the Muscle Shoals Chorus and Show Choir on tour to Charleston, South Carolina and Orlando, Florida. She also loves being able to teach and direct at McBride Elementary School working with their 3rd and 4th graders on general music and in Show Choir. She currently lives in Muscle Shoals with her husband, Ben Bradford, and children, Ellianna and Peyton.
