Grease: School Version - November 20 - November 22, 2014

Naples Performing Arts Center

 DIRECTOR'S  SENIOR SEND OFFS

Armand,

The world is yours! Being your director for the last 6 years has been nothing but an honor. You are not only extremely talented, but you are the kindest and hardest working young man I know. You are going to be missed tremendously! Never settle for anything but greatness! You deserve it! You have earned the award for kissing the most co-stars on stage, leaving your mic on in the bathroom the most, dancing in the mirror the most, and stressing the director out with your improv lines the most! Don’t forget me in your first Tony or Academy Award speech-it’s just a matter of time!

Chloe,

I am so proud of you and all of your growth. When I think back to when you started in Grease back in the 8th grade, you were so shy and timid on the stage. And now look at you- rockin’ the role of Sandy! You should be so proud of yourself! You have such an incredible voice! Don’t give up on your dreams. Work hard, stay focused and dream big! I think one day we will be listening to that voice on the radio! We are going to miss you!

Clint,

You were 9 years old when I was your director for the first time. You were full of personality and confidence and took that stage by command. Nothing has changed! From ballroom dancing with Allie, four wheeling with Luke, vacations as families, and the numerous shows you have been in-I have watched you grow from a fun loving little boy to an incredible young man! I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! (Don’t cry Mama Sheryl!)

Faith,

When I think of the word potential your name comes to mind! Potential to accomplish anything! You truly are an amazing young woman. Everything you do is done with a level of excellence that is not typically found in teenagers. It truly is an honor to not only work with you but know you. As a momma, I could not be more thankful that you are one of Allies closest friends. Dream big my sweet friend because you can accomplish anything! Don’t go!

Lexi,

It has been such a delight to work along side you the last year. You did such a terrific job as student director for Mary Poppins and Wizard of Oz. I have no doubt that one day you will be directing your own shows and they will be fantastic! You have such a natural eye and creativity when it comes to putting a show together. You are absolutely

Fantastic at the role of Miss Lynch. NPAC will miss you!

Taylor,

I cannot believe how much you have grown! If I could give an award for the most improved it would go to you! You were so shy and scared in your first show and now you are doing monologues on your own and singing solos. I am so proud of you! Thank you for always being Allies chauffeur and confidant. It has been such a joy to watch you grow up! You will be missed!

Nicole,

While I haven’t had the chance to get to know you like a lot of the other seniors, it has been a joy to have you in the last two shows. Your excitement and love for theater is so evident. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the role of Patty. Wishing you the very best as you pursue your dreams!

Quentin,

You are a little burst of explosion on stage! I am so sad that I did not have more of an opportunity to work with you. The fact that this is only your first NPAC show is just wrong! But I am so thankful that we at least got you for Grease before you graduated. Thank you for how hard you have worked and how dedicated you have been. You are so talented and fun to watch on stage. You have been such a joy to direct!

Michael,

You are a trip! You make me laugh every time I see you! Again, why did you come to NPAC so late? You are going to be a tremendous teacher, and your students will be blessed to have you. You make everyone around you feel so happy and encouraged. That is truly a gift. I wish you nothing but happiness and success in the future. I promise we will come and see you at the bowling alley this summer! You are the best!

Grace,

You are such a gifted and talented young woman! Your future is endless! Your voice is beyond words! Thank you for always making me laugh and being the most iconic person I know! You are truly an NPAC legend! We have more memories and hilarious quotes from you than anyone! You will so be missed not only for your remarkable talent but just for who you are! You are truly loved!

Joey,

You my friend can sing! I have loved watching you develop as a performer and overcome your fears especially of dance! Now, let’s discuss why you are sent to time out so often? Why can’t you and Naomi stop talking? Are you trying to stress me out? Lol! Honestly, I will miss you Naomi’s giggling terribly! Stay focused and dream big!
