Nashua Theatre Guild

 Meet the Directors!

  • Beth Schwartz head shot

    Beth Schwartz

Directing "Garage Sale", Beth is our recording secretary on the Nashua Theatre Guild board of directors. Beth is one of our mentor directors who wanted to present this sweet piece to you. You may have seen Beth's other pieces in the past such as "Wild Party", "A Case of Belong" and "One Night Only". We appreciate Beth for organizing this group for the One Act performances.

    Director's Note:

Reminiscent of "Touched by an Angel", this piece should leave you feeling good at the end. And can't we all use more happy endings. I would like to thank the board of directors, and especially the cast, crew and my fellow directors for all of their hardwork. Special thanks to Katie, Chris and Steve for stepping in at the last moment for an actor who became ill and unable to perform 3 days before we opened.

  • Nancy Flynn-Barvick head shot

    Nancy Flynn-Barvick

Nancy comes to us from Massachusetts and has

co-written this play with her daughter Kate! She has always loved theatre and this is her writing and directorial debut!

Director's Note:Thank you to everyone at NTG for so warmly welcoming me into the community. I am honored that Outpost Hospital is included in this Night of One Acts and am grateful to everyone who made it possible. This very silly play is special to me, not only because it is my directorial debut, but also because my daughter and I wrote it together. We had a lot of fun writing it, and now I am having a lot of fun watching this amazing cast bring it to life! I hope you will enjoy learning way too much about the intertwined personal lives of these eight characters at an outpost in the neutral sector.
