What you will see here tonight few things are certain, but these are etched.
We have worked incredibly hard to get to this point.
We have worked with intention & purpose.
It cannot and will not be done without people like you.
Build it, and they will come.
The concept of New Canon Theatre (NCTC) started WITH Macbeth. When Justin and I sat down to discuss the present & future of theatre in our area and ran all the scenarios we kept coming back to this piece, one of my personal favorites. I’m beyond proud to produce a show with this team specifically, some whom I’ve worked with before. Each of whom has gone above and beyond to bring this to life.

As you sit here tonight, listen to these timeless words, and like a juicy red apple bite the sense off and take it with you for all your days. The plays are yours to translate, transmit and transend with. Have an open mind, open heart and allow the words and actors interpretations to create space for vulnerability, thought and conjure memory in you. In this staging, the actors have no where to hide, give them your radiant energy and they will give you so much more in return.
I dedicate this production to my grandmother, Doris Light Frantz. She is my muse.
