He has had the pleasure of working on and offstage at companies such as Asolo Rep, American Stage, American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco Playhouse, California Shakespeare Theater, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Aurora Theatre Company, Berkeley Playhouse, PlayGround SF, 6th Street Playhouse and Center Repertory Company.     Rebecca is excited to be back for another New Canon production after appearing as Biondello/Cortni/Widow in The Taming of the Shrew. Outside of the theatre world, she sells books and coffee at Bookworks and plays the bodhrán in her Celtic band Banish Misfortune.

    Favorite theatre credits include Kindertransport (LA Theatre Works), The Secret Garden (Lewis Family Playhouse), Romeo and Juliet (Looseleaf Theatre Co.), Watch on the Rhine (Will Geer Theatricum), Uncle Vanya (Antaeus Company), and The Women (Harlequin Productions). Film credits include lead roles in The Dangle (Best Short at the California International Film Festival) and the upcoming short film When You Sleep. As a writer, Shannon has made the Top 50 List in the Nicholl Screenwriting Competition and been a semi-finalist for Stowe Story Labs’ Tangerine Fellowship. Training: Princeton University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
