Theresa is excited to be making her third appearance on the New Hope Academy stage! In the past, Theresa has been involved with various productions including The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley and Willy Wonka, Jr., as well as the New Hope Academy fall production of Up the Down Staircase and the spring production of Beauty and The Beast. Theresa has also been involved with choir and loves to sing. Theresa is excited to be playing Truvy in this year’s production of Steel Magnolias. Theresa would like to thank her parents for their love, support, and transportation.

Amanda is happy to be in the play, Steel Magnolias. You may recognize her from some previous plays and musicals at New Hope Academy. Amanda is honored to be playing such a big role as Annelle. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, and she hopes that you enjoy the show.

Elisabeth Rogers
as Clairee Belcher
Elisabeth Rogers, despite having stage fright, has decided to test her limits by playing the part of Clairee Belcher in Steel Magnolias. However, this is not her New Hope Academy debut. Her first performance was Springfest 2016, and she recently performed in Winterfest 2016. All in all, Elisabeth is excited for her first drama performance, and she promises to give it her all.

Danna Bernanke
as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie
Danna is delighted to be playing Shelby in Steel Magnolias. This is her fourth show at New Hope Academy. She was last seen in Beauty and The Beast and Up the Down Staircase. She has also performed in many other plays at different venues. She is a junior. She dedicates these performances to Georgeanne Walters. Danna would like to thank Mom, Dad, Julia, Matthew, and all the cast and crew.

Phoenix Fela
as M'Lynn Eatenton
Phoenix has been in two plays, Beauty and The Beast last year and Annie in middle school. Phoenix is very excited to be in Steel Magnolias this year and loves her character, M’Lynn. Phoenix would like to thank her two cats, Smokey and Joey, for being the coolest cats on the block. Her mom and family are pretty cool, too. Phoenix gives her thanks for all of the the love and support.
