Leesan Villa

Leesan Villa (Mother) is making her New York Theater Festival debut in I Don’t Wanna Be Here!  Leesan, a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, has done theater, film & television. She is excited to be working on multiple projects now that her children are almost all grown up . She is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank her family & friends for all their love and support, including her pooches! She would also like to give thanks & praise to God for His love & guidance in all things. Last but not least, she wants to thank the  cast & crew of I Don’t Wanna Be Here because she loves BEING here with them! 

Gerard DeBenedetto

as Father

Gerard DeBenedetto (Father) began his acting journey after a 25 year career in investment management where he was a frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg. He's been training at The Barrow Group and was recently cast in a number of short films and an episode of "Sins of the South" for the Oxygen Network. He is stoked to be part of "I Don't Wanna Be Here" and would like to thank Fanghua for her encouragement and their son Anzi for his acting leadership.

as Charles

Can Sark(Charles) is a Pace graduate - actor, editor, writer, and director. Alongside the work he partakes in, he creates and produces his own shorts, short films, films as well. Above it all, Can is someone who cherishes - family and loyalty.

Gabriel Villa (Fabian, Director, Playwright) Born with a natural flair for storytelling and a profound empathy for the struggles faced by those dealing with mental illness, Gabriel Villa’s creative journey began at a young age. His love for the written word blossomed, and he found solace in putting his thoughts onto paper, using his craft to explore themes close to his heart.
