Jerry Maloy
Director
Jerry is a retired music educator with many productions under his belt. His favorites include
"Guys and Dolls", "Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", and "Man of La Mancha."
In 2012, Jerry adapted the Walt Disney's "Summer Magic" for the stage with the guidance of composer Richard Sherman. He also adapted Tom Sawyer for stage, using Sherman's songs. It premiered at NPAC in Greeneville as "River Song: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." In recent years, Jerry and Amanda Short began the Camp NPAC Kids Summer Theatre program at Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Greeneville. For NTG, Jerry has directed "Nunsense," "Nunsense II," "Our Town," "Steel Magnolias," "My Fair Lady," and "Bye, Bye, Birdie." He also directed the inaugural production of NTG – "Arsenic and Old Lace."
Susan McMahan
Choreographer
Susan is an award-winning choreographer who is the artistic director, and dance, gymnastics, and fitness instructor for Newport Arts & Athletics (Newport Dance and Cheer Academy). She has previously served as the choreographer for NTG's production of "Secret Garden." With her husband Aaron, she has two children, Holden and Livia Noel. She attends First Baptist Church where she is the women's ministry team leader. She thanks Jerry for the opportunity to share her talents and abilities in her community, her assistant Julianna Munsey, her mom for late night babysitting, and her dancers and their family members for working so hard. Finally, she thanks God above for all of her blessings.
