All it takes is FAITH, TRUST and Pixie DUST...Oh I wish life were that simple. I love the words to the song the fairies sing as they take the children to Neverland;

The innocence and pure wonder of childhood. Believing anything is possible. Even the ability to fly with fairies. No wonder Jesus Christ tells us that only if we come to HIM in that childlike faith will we will be saved. FAITH that trusts without doubting. FAITH that God will never fail. FAITH that just trusts because they believe it to be true. Children trust us as their parents to protect them and care for them, meeting their every need (not their every want). God wants that from us. TRUST that because HE said it you can believe it is true. TRUST that is able to spread your arms wide, fall backwards without hesitation and know that HE will catch you...everytime! Now, while I am not so sure that fairies actually spread pixie dust in our lives, I do know that God's Holy Spirit, "dusts" our lives with the ability to continue to believe once we have made the choice to follow Jesus Christ. He allows to "fly" with Christ in our daily lives. So, that in the end we may actually find who we are in Christ and reaching that eternally "Neverland" called Heaven.
My prayer is and always will be, that not one of you would leave this performance today without the assurance that you will reach that "Neverland". That we will one day be able to dance in Heaven together singing praises to the King of Kings. If you are not sure, ask me how to know. I am always excited to share how you can "fly".
This show has transformed into a new favorite of mine. Once again God has brought lessons in my life that run so parallel to the theme of the show. FAITH and TRUST. As our family embarks on an unknown adventure of pure FAITH and TRUST that God is working something wonderful. That HE will take care of us and provide. We just need remember not forget to "watch all the flowers..."
As always there are several "fairies" I need to thank (I will probably miss someone, as some fly in and I am unaware until much later). This time in particular though I need to just throw HUGE hugs to Leanne and Tonya. Words will NEVER express my love and gratitude to the both of you for ALL that you do. With this theater company, this show and just putting up with me. Stacy and Susan...what would I do with out your help, especially for those last minute details, and your children bless my life so much. TO my family...all that you endure through these productions, from building sets, to typing scripts, running the back stage and just all the extras you do when I shout "help me". To all of my families, thank you for sharing your children with me. I love them so much and my life really is full because of the opportunity to serve them and just be loved by them. THANK YOU!!!
