To my cast:
This journey has been one of the most trying but rewarding things I have ever done. We have all worked many long hours making sure this production was the best that it could be. There are so many reasons why this show could have crumbled, but because of dedication, hard work, and persistance, it is the success I knew it always could be. These kids are so special and work wonders! They are some of the most talented young adults I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. I would like to thank Sarah Clavelle for being my partner in this and of course my wonderful husband for being such a rockstar dad through all of this! You are my rock!
To my seniors: I wish you nothing but the successes you deserve. I cannot wait to see what awaits each of you. My time spent as your teacher has been one that I will always love, you guys are some of the BEST kids I have ever taught. My time spent as your director has been even better. I have gotten to know you guys on a personal level and you are all so special in your own ways.
Kaylee- you have the brightest smile, that shines for everyone Kaiser- your talent knows no ceiling! You will continue to grow. Tresa- you were always the rock that kept others striving to be better. Vanye- Your energy and strength is contagious! Keep smiling sweet girl! Leah- Your willingness to try and do anything is admirable! I love you for this. Jaylla- Your ability to make others laugh is one thing that makes you amazing! You are a true friend! Mychell- You are probably one of the hardest workers I know! This will get you far, dear!
I will leave y'all with a lyric from one of my favorite musicals, Mary Poppins.
"If you reach for the stars, all you'll get are the stars... but if you reach for the heavens, you get the stars thrown in... anything can happen if you let it!"
Keep reaching guys! LOVE YOU! ~ Mrs. Broussard

What an experience!! This is the second musical we have done in two-years and to say I am proud of what they have accomplished is an understatement. I have always felt that I have some of the most talented students in the area but that most of their talent went untapped. They kept hitting that proverbial glass ceiling. It has always been my desire for the students to see themselves as I see them. I have such high expectations for each and every one of my kids. I believe they are beginning to see that with every endeavor, there are trials to overcome in order to truly appreciate the success. There will be sweat, tears, and frustration and there will also be excitement, growth, and pride!! To see where they started and where they are today is surreal. I would like to thank each and every one of you!! You will all be in my heart forever. I am one proud mama over here!!!
There are so many people to thank for making this happen. First and foremost, Megan Broussard, for having the foresight to get this thing rolling!! You are the glue that has kept us all together! This would not have happened without you. There are so many people to thank in the community, that I don’t even know where to begin. Thank you to all of you for your support and donations so that these kids could have this experience once again. I am humbled by your support. Finally, I would like to thank my family for supporting me throughout this endeavor. You guys are everything to me!
Enjoy the show!!!!
Love,
Mrs. Clavelle
