Shrek The Musical Jr - December 13 - December 14, 2016

OL Slaton Middle School

 End Notes

A Note from the Directors

A truly successful production involves more than what is presented on stage.  It should not only be an artistic learning experience, but a personal one as well.  One in which every single actor, crew member, and even directors make the connection that they are part of something much bigger and greater than themselves.

In a society that is constantly promoting the individual and getting ahead at any cost, usually at the cost of someone else, we are blessed to share an artform with our students that emphasizes TEAMWORK...that emphasizes the PROCESS over the PRODUCT...an artform that allows for the one thing that middle schoolers seem to need so often - grace.

We are so proud of this production and have enjoyed this process thoroughly, even the slight to moderate to major *bumps* in the road along the way!  The Arts are alive and well at O.L. Slaton Middle School and we are so glad to share it with you this evening!

To our cast and crew...remember, "QUIT. STOP. DON'T." And, that your mama didn't come to watch your fanny!  Proud of all of you!

See you when the lights come up!
