as Figaro, the Count's servant
Martin Hargrove (Figaro) lyric bass, performed the role of Escamillo in La Petite Carmen with OPERAnauts, Colline in La Bohème with Center City Opera Theatre, Jake in Porgy & Bess with Opera Delaware and appeared with the Newark Symphony & the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival. Earlier this year Mr. Hargrove toured Ireland, France and U.S. with a choir ensemble specializing in Spirituals based in NYC.

Tracy Sturgis
as Susanna, the Countess' servant
Tracy Sturgis (Susanna) soprano, performs with Children’s Opera Box, Delaware Valley Opera Company, Michigan Opera Theatre, Toledo Opera, Blue Planet Opera, Village Productions, Lyric Opera Cleveland. Recently, she performed Susanna in DVOC’s Le Nozze di Figaro and with The Philadelphia Singers, and is soprano soloist at Trinity Episcopal in Swarthmore, PA, where she also teaches studio voice.

Joy Bechtler
as The Countess
Joy Bechtler (the Countess) lyric soprano, has performed the role of Micaela in La Petite Carmen, Mimì in La Bohème with Castel Opera Arts, and with Opera Lanka. Ms. Bechtler has performed with Opera Festival of NJ, Israel Vocal Arts Institute and with Centro Studi Lirica in Italy. She founded OPERAnauts as a non-profit charity using music in Congo to reverse the cycle of violence and poverty.

Brian Ming Chu
as The Count
Brian Ming Chu (the Count), baritone, has performed numerous roles with opera companies from Philadelphia to Dallas, including as Marcello in La Bohème, Leporello in Don Giovanni, and the title role in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. As a resident artist with the Baltimore Opera he sang roles in Carmen, Lakmé, Salome. A performer of “vocal and interpretive confidence” [Philadelphia Inquirer].
