    Hannah is a very dedicated student.  She works hard in all her classes as well as spending time with friends.  She loves everybody and is glad to work with all these amazing people.

    Amelia is involved in many Advanced Placement classes.  She is always in control and the show would not be complete without her.  She is grateful for her parents and friends for being supportive of her passion.

    Alissa has been involved with the Drama Department her whole high school career, filling various backstage and on stage roles.  She is a devout lover of teh arts and plans to continue her involvement in them throughout college.  She wants to thank her friends and family for supporting her in all her endeavors.  

 

Alumni Updates

 

Karlyn Love directed Sense and Sensibility for Clackamas Repertory Theatre this summer, which featured Mark Schwahn.  In March she directs Beau Jest for New Century Players. 

 

Gina Piva '08  Gina earned a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon in 2012.  After working as a freelance costume designer in Portland for five years, she was just hired as the Costume Designer/Instructor for Clackamas Community College.  Her first production there was Lobby Hero, which was seen by 70 students from our current Drama 1, 3, 4, Theatre Tech, and Theatre as Literature classes.

 

Joel Anderson '13 Joel was hired as the new Technical Director of Performing Arts for OCHS.

 

Hayden Bearden '15 Hayden just finished designing sound for Chico State's production of Theresa Rebeck's Our House.  He will graduate this year with a degree in Theatre and Recording Arts and plans to continue on to grad school for an MFA in Sound Design.

 

“The Theatre Arts Department at CCC gives students an ability to learn and grow in a professional theatre setting.” – Audrey Houtz '16 Is in her 2nd year at CCC where she studies theatre. She plans to transfer to PSU and major in Theatre Arts and Psychology.

 

"CCC is such an awesome theatre program to be a part of, with professional

productions, and the teachers are exceptional! I have greatly enjoyed the acting classes with Jim Eikrem.” – Talulabel Gilpin '18. She is going on to study theatre in the Portland area.
