Putting together Disney’s The Little Mermaid is no small feat, and I am endlessly grateful to the incredible team who helped bring this underwater world to life.

Production Team

Christina – Our Assistant Director and Vocal Coach. Thank you for your steady guidance, your artistry, and for being the person who keeps me sane when the sea gets stormy.

Jaykob – Our Choreographer, who not only created the movement of our show but also jumped in on costumes, set pieces, and props—none of which he was obligated to do, but all of which he tackled like a champ. Also, as one of my former students, I take full credit for how awesome he is.

Steph – Our Drama Coach, and another former student of mine. Thank you for shaping character work, helping with costumes and props, and for proving that my former students do, in fact, grow up to be extremely useful adults.

Pete – Our Set Designer, who built the world we get to play in. Thank you for turning lumber and imagination into something magical.

Brian – Our Lighting Designer, K–12 Coordinator, and my mentor. Your support, leadership, and ability to make everything look better than it has any right to is appreciated more than you know.

Jon – Our Sound Designer, who made sure every note, line, and ocean sound effect landed exactly where it needed to. Thank you for giving our world its voice.

To Our Seniors

You are the heart of this program, and watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my career.

Peighton – My rock through this entire process. Four years of dedication, leadership, and reliability.

Amari – Another four‑year veteran whose presence and consistency have shaped this program.

Katy – A four‑year veteran and the ultimate fill‑in‑anywhere performer. Thank you for stepping into countless dance and ensemble roles without hesitation.

Madison – A four‑year veteran whose confidence, personality, and energy light up every moment onstage. Thank you for always stepping up when we need you.

Katie – A four‑year veteran and our Stage Manager, the person who keeps us focused, organized, and on track when the rest of us are drifting off like confused seagulls. This show runs because you run it.

Ethan – After five years of playing bass for me, I’m thrilled you finally get your moment onstage. It’s about time.

Brennan – Joining us this year and stepping into a role you weren’t originally cast in—and absolutely crushing it. You’ve surprised me in the best possible ways.

Brandon – The student I “bullied” (lovingly) into joining us, who has filled in wherever needed and brought so much to this cast.

Administration

A huge thank you to Dan, Geoff, Beth, and Joe for being endlessly supportive and ensuring we have everything we need to make this production happen. Your support makes all the difference.

Additional Thanks

Marisa Volo – Thank you for your constant support, your willingness to help wherever you can, and for talking me off the cliff more times than I’d like to admit as our Department Leader.

Sheri and Meg – Thank you for your artistic advice, your supplies, and your patience with someone who is absolutely not artistic in any way. You make us look far more polished than we would otherwise.

Panther Pops – Thank you for assisting us in every possible way. We truly could not do this without you.

Parents & Families – Thank you for lending us your children for countless rehearsals, for your patience, and for showing up time and time again. Your support is the backbone of this program.
