    This is J.R.'s sixth directed piece at Oak Hill Middle School.  As a professional actor, J.R. has entertained thousands of men, women, and children since 2006. He has taken his love for theatre arts into the classroom in order to pass on his knowledge and enthusiasm to the next generation of talented professionals.

    CRYSTAL WILLIAMS is a native of Jacksonville, Florida.  After undergrad she won a scholarship to the globally acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem.  Crystal then moved on to the stage of Broadway Musical Theatre.  Crystal performed the featured role in the tour of Broadway’s Sophisticated Ladies, dancing in the U.S.S.R. to Japan to cities in Europe and back home to Washington, D. C.  Soon after, she performed in Ragtime, The Musical as Sarah. Performing this lead role in Hawaii earned her their equivalent of the Tony award.  Other roles include South Pacific (u/s Bloody Mary), Sweet Charity (Nikki), Smokey Joe's CaféThe Sunshine Boys (Nurse), and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon).  

    Currently, she is excited to ‘give back’ by teaching and imparting her love for fine arts’ disciplines into students of all ages.  Crystal’s personal philosophy: “I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfectionExcellence, I can reach for, perfection is God’s business.

    Musical Director

    Brad is the Choral Director for Oak Hill Middle School.  Previously he taught General Music at Midway Hills Primary and before that General Music and Chorus at Blandy Hills Elelmentary where he began his teaching career in 1994.  His producer/music director credits include How I Became A Pirate younger@part, Lion King Kids, and Seussical Kids with Baldwin Academy Playhouse (Founder), Elf Jr., Sleeping Beauty Kids, The Knight At Dawn, Jungle Book Kids, The Aristocats Kids, Aladdin Kids, and Schoolhouse Rock Jr. with the Blandy Hills Chorus.  He has also served as Music Director for the BHS Productions of The Drowsy Chaperone and Fame Jr.
