Brooke Gray

Director/Choreographer

Brooke Gray is the music specialist at Oak Mountain Intermediate School. She currently serves as the Social Media Chair for Elementary Division of AMEA. In the past she has directed multiple shows, choirs, instrument ensembles and grade level programs. She is certified in the Kodaly Concept and currently holds a Level One Certification in the Orff Concept. A music teacher for 22 years, she has directed the Elementary Honor Choir for both Jefferson and Shelby County; served as the Eteam Leader at Hueytown Intermediate and has taught technology as well. She is active in both the AOSA and SHAKE communities - most of her friends joke that she knows everyone in music in the state. 

She currently resides in Irondale with her husband, Jeremy Gray, who is the breaking news and politics editor for AL.Com; her two children; her two stepchildren; one dog; two cats and a partridge in a pear tree.

This is her second time directing Annie Jr!
