In Memoriam

Howard K. Copen Jr.

1945-2017

He was a truck driver, auto mechanic, handyman, repairwright, hunter, baseball fan, and football fan.  He loved music, film, television, books, art, photography, and his bible.  He was equally comfortable at an antique tractor pull as he was at a Broadway premier.  He built most of the platforms and steps we use on our stage in every production.  He was a husband of 52 years.  He was a father for 49 years and a grandfather for over 20 years.  He loved the world, and the world loved him.  He would have loved this show so much because first, he was one of my biggest fan.  Second, he was really just a young boy at heart who loved a fantastic story.  Most importantly, he continued to believe in "Impossible" things right up to the end.
