 Acknowledgements

I (Michael Unger) would like to acknowledge that this show would not be possible without the many hands of this community working together in support of one another and in service to God and to His Truth, Beauty, and Love.

We would like to thank Susan Brock, Terri Clark, Brian Eddy, and all those in administration who care so deeply about the students and faculty here and who give so much of their time and their love.

To Amy Douglas, Lauren Malmstrom, and all of the communications/support staff for their willingness to liaison for us—even when it's something of a scramble!

To Dave McClure and all the facilities caretakers for their eternal patience as we transform the MP into something magical every year.

To the food-staff, gym teachers, and everyone who uses the MP, we offer our thanks for the use of your space, and hope you enjoy the show just as much as we do!

We would also like to thank all of the parents who worked tirelessly to corral all of the tasks that would often slip our minds—to Donna Miller and Dawn Swank for their leadership.

To Donna Munch who (even after her daughter's graduated) still serves as a much-beloved lifeline with her knowledge of OCS drama.

To Andrea Busch for her wonderful skills as a seamstress (and for bringing laughter everywhere she goes).

To Ann Brown for her own joviality and her skill with make-up. And to all the parents who worked to provide food, transportation, and labor to this production. It really would not be possible without you all—or, if it were, we'd just have a bare stage in a stark gym, much less magical.

To Rand Richards and Lucas for many (many!) long days of moving and restringing and rewiring lights to transform a huge tin box into a rather wonderful theatre. Their experience and expertise and willingness to help has been invaluable. Without them, this show would be much darker.

To Joel Thomas and Ben for their help with sound and microphones. They graciously donated both their time and the temporary use of their own equipment. And though the director might be a purist and a luddite who wants every cast member to project sans-amplification, they graciously make it possible to hear your children on stage with all the emotion and care they've put into their lines.

To Ivana Butler for recording the creepy mermaid song—a strange request but one she graciously complied with, even amidst her other duties as a music teacher here!
