NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

I am, time and again, proud of these wonderful students and this production. It was a rough journey to this moment in time, but students proved that they are resilient and willing to work hard to make quality theatre. The unique movements and characterization of this show allowed for a very obvious physical transformation for these actors. Everyone should be proud of their work and what they have accomplished since December.

Without the wonderful support of the community and parents, we wouldn't have gotten nearly so far. The endless hours of parents driving students to and from rehearsals to helping with advertising and feeding these young actors. Parents are the heart of this show.

Lastly, I would like to my actors. This show was difficult for all of us--whether it was snow days or getting into the bodies of animals--we all struggled, but more importantly we overcame. Your dedication and hard work helped to create this show and this show belongs to you. You'll (always) be in my heart.

Best,

Samantha Rice
