Mr. Myers would like to thank:

  • The students of OHS Theatre Arts (cast, crew, and in classes) for going with me on this journey, for bringing creativity to the process. It’s so fun to participate in the creative process with you all.
  • Families and friends of the cast and crew for understanding the long hours, for asking how you could help, for packing extra snacks or bringing another caffeinated beverage while we press on, and for always understand that we can’t because “we have rehearsal.”
  • The administrative team at OHS: Matt Grant, Laura Conklin, Liz Cornelius, Dan Casler, and Bob Kickner. Your support of this program and attendance at our events means so much to the students and myself. We are fortunate to have you.
  • To Wendy Rae and Rebecca Blocher, our front office staff for being my rocks at school, for being a kind ear to listen, and for always being ready to jump in and help. I feel incredibly grateful that you care so much about me.
  • To Theresa Hays and Shelley Walter for being great support in the ASB office making sure all the paperwork is in, t’s are crossed, and i’s are dotted.
  • Carolyn Poage, our world class Head Custodian, and the rest of the OHS Custodial staff for all the support and check-ins to make sure that the PAC is ready for everything we need.
  • Rich Tocher, our new PAC Manager! Whew! That sentence is great to write. Thank you for jumping in and becoming a much-welcomed and helpful part of the Performing Arts team at OHS.
  • Andrew Woodbridge for jumping in at the last minute to help with lights for this show when I needed. Thank you for always being willing to lend your expertise wherever.
  • Theatre teachers and our fellow Thespians of Thurston County for building a supportive inter-school community of Theatre artists.
  • My friend and long-time director, Scott Palmer, for showing me that Shakespeare is meant to be messed with. I have drawn so many lessons from my time working with you!
  • Billie Crane for being a steadfast support through highs and lows. It is so wonderful to have a partner who understands the life of a Theatre Director.
  • To the girls, London and Ainsleigh, for continuing to think that this thing I do is so cool even when you may not understand all the language. Thanks for hanging out at “Daddy’s school” and always finding a way to make it fun!
  • To you, the audience, the people who come out to see some new, odd take on a Shakespearean classic. Your support of the OHS Theatre Arts department allows us to do new things like this, to experiment and try something different on the stage. Thank you!
