Casey Ryan
as The Narrator (El Gallo)
Casey has been seen in productions at Capital Playhouse, Olympia Family Theatre, Apple Tree Productions and Olympia High School. Favorite roles are Tony in West Side Story, Cousin Kevin in Tommy, and The Wolf in Into the Woods. He recently studied at The Berridge Conservatory, an acting and film program in France. When off stage, Casey loves to juggle, hike, and play ukulele.

Jackie Deshaye
as The Girl (Luisa)
Jackie is a senior at Olympia High School. She studies voice with Bree Krame, piano with Troy Fisher and enjoys drama, band, and choir at school. Her favorite roles include Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Cinderella in Cinderella, and the Witch in Into the Woods. She plans on going to cosmetology school to study wigs and makeup to become a costumer for a theatre or opera house. She is very excited to be in this production with such a wonderful cast and artistic staff.

Jeff Hines-Mohrman
as The Boy (Matt)
Jeff is pumped to be working with Troy Fisher again. You may have seen Jeff in Apple Tree Production’s Once on This Island as Daniel or North Thurston High School’s Bye Bye Birdie. He was a guest actor in The Olympia Sweet Adeline’s annual show last year, and will return in October. He recently participated in the national semifinal round at the 2016 National Student Auditions at NATS.

Thomas Smith
as The Boy's Father (Mr. Hucklebee)
This is Dr. Smith’s musical theater debut. He retired from the U. S. Army in 1998 as Major Smith and received his Ph. D. in Leadership Studies in 2007. He has had vocal training with Mark Anton and Troy Fisher. He currently sings with Olympia’s Masterworks Choral Ensemble and is Vice President of The Wodehouse Society. The entire Smith family would like to thank you for paying your taxes.

Karen Gheorghiu
as The Boy's Mother (Mrs. Hucklebee)
Karen has been apart of Olympia’s music scene since 1994. She has performed with the Olympia Symphony, Olympia Chamber Orchestra under Tim Brock, Olympia Choral Society, Capital Playhouse, and Masterworks. She is head of the Gheorghiu Music Studio with her husband Alex; together they prepare future generations of young musicians to contribute to their communities.
