Isadora Accornero, Flute, is excited to be part of the Pit Band in this year’s production, Once Upon a Mattress. Isadora is also in the Symphonic and Jazz Bands. When not in school, she expresses her love of the arts through singing, playing guitar, writing music, and dancing at Eglevsky Ballet, where she has been studying since 2015.
Kiara Altamirano, Baymen Backstage, is so excited to be part of Once Upon a Mattress. This is her second time helping out with the school musical. She plays the french horn in the Middle Level Band and piano in the Middle Level Jazz Band. She wants to wish the cast and crew good luck.
Genesis Alvarez, Flute, is thrilled to be part of Once Upon a Mattress this year. She is a dedicated flute player and is enjoying her first experience performing in the Pit Band. She is also involved in the Symphonic Band and Jazz Band, where she continues to grow as a musician. Genesis appreciates the hard work of everyone involved in the production and is thankful for the opportunity to contribute to such an entertaining and rewarding show.
Mariella Andriotis, String Synthesizer, is very excited for this year's production of Once Upon A Mattress. In previous years, Mariella participated in The Addams Family. When Mariella is not in Pit Band, she is spending time with family, friends, and her instruments. She a plays piano privately outside of school, and she plays the bassoon in Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Mariella would like to thank everyone involved in this production and is excited for next year!!
Riley Baehr, Flute, is thrilled to be playing in this year's production of Once Upon a Mattress. Previously, Riley played flute in shows such as Chicago and The Addams Family, while also playing as first flute in her school's Wind Ensemble.
Tate Baehr, Percussion, is very excited to be in this year's production of Once Upon a Mattress. When not playing in the Pit Band, Tate can be found playing percussion in Oyster Bays Middle School Band.
Richard Barillas, Trumpet, is exhilarated for this year's production of Once Upon a Mattress. Although he has participated in many other ensembles, this is his first year taking part in a musical's Pit Band. When Richard isn't rehearsing with the rest of the pit, he is constantly practicing because he is in every band that the high school offers. Richard is grateful for everyone participating in this year's production and hopes that you enjoy the show!
Charlynn Biel, Musican, is so excited to be on the stage again this year! She thanks her family for supporting her and helping her through the years.
Mosie Bradley, The Minstrel, could not be more excited for his final show at Oyster Bay High School. Previously, he has participated in The Addams Family, Clue, and Chicago, as well as playing French Horn in the Wind and Jazz Ensembles, and sings Baritone in the Chamber Singers. He hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Samuel Brenner, Trombone, is ready for their fourth show playing as a member of Pit Band for Once Upon a Mattress. He has played in Oyster Bay Middle High School's production of The Addams Family, as well as the Long Beach Theatre Guild's production of The Music Man and Annie. Other than pit, he is a member of the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Tri-M Music Honors Society, and Long Island Youth Orchestra.
Amelia Broege, Art and Design and Baymen Backstage, is ecstatic to be back again working backstage for her third year on the spring musical production of Once Upon a Mattress! Amelia has experience working on Peter and The Starcatcher, Chicago, Clue, The Adams Family and Puffs! Amelia thanks everyone for these wonderful opportunities and can't wait to continue helping out with Baymen Backstage.
