Aaliyah Bullock, Emily, is very excited for this year’s production Once Upon a Mattress. In previous years, Aaliyah has been in the previous fall production of Puffs as Susie Bones, and has been in Annie Jr., and Madagascar Jr. at Vernon. Aaliyah would like to thank everyone involved in this production and is very excited for next year!
Maddie Cali, Knight, is very excited for this years musical of Once Upon a Mattress. In past years Maddie was in The Addams Family, Chicago, Moana Jr, Madagascar Jr, and Annie Jr. When Maddie is not on stage she does Stage Crew. She is a part of the Chamber Singers and Symphonic band. Maddie is very excited to see this show come together and would like to thank everyone who is involved. Enjoy the show!!
Mia Carleo, Clarinet, is excited to be joining the Pit Band for her very first time with Once Upon a Mattress! Mia is passionate about music, as well as theatre, and is eager to contribute to the lively and fun atmosphere of the show. Currently, she plays for the school's Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. Mia would like to thank everyone involved with this production, and she hopes you all enjoy the show!
Emme Carleo, Clarinet, is excited to make her debut in the Pit Band for this year’s production! Outside of Pit Band, she plays for the school's Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. Emme is thrilled to bring her passion for music to the theatre stage. She’d like to thank the cast, crew, and directors for their hard work and support.
Matthew Cohen, Baritone Saxophone, is thrilled to be part of this year’s production. A senior, Matthew also plays in Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. He is excited to see the full performance come together in the pit with such talented performers and musicians around him. He looks forward to making the most of this final year in the pit, cherishing every moment with the cast and crew.
Camryn Corey, Lady in Waiting, is so excited to be involved in this years incredible production of Once Upon A Mattress! In previous years, Camryn has played a role in Annie Jr., Peter and the Starcatcher and Chicago. When she’s not on stage, Camryn enjoys diving into extracurricular activities that help her build character and gain experience across a wide range of fields, including playing the flute Symphonic Band. Camryn is so proud of the effort each and every person involved in the production has put into the show and is looking forward to 2026!
Eva Crassa, Stage Manager, is very excited for this year's spring production of Once Upon a Mattress! She has previously done stage crew for Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, Clue, The Addams Family, and Puffs. Besides working on the musical, Eva also plays clarinet in Symphonic Band and participates in the Baymen Backstage after school club. Eva would like to thank and congratulate the crew, pit, cast, and teachers who worked on this production and cannot wait for next year!
Caitlin Dias, Bass, is excited to be a part of the Pit Band in this year's production of Once Upon a Mattress. In previous years she has participated in Pit Band for The Addams Family and in Art and Design Crew for Pippin and Bye Bye Birdie. When Caitlin is not in the pit, she is either hanging out with the cast, or playing more music on her guitars and keyboard. Caitlin is ecstatic for Once Upon a Mattress and would like to thank everyone who was involved in making this production come to life!
Julie Duke, Flute, is honored to be back with the pit this year for her second production, Once Upon a Mattress, following last year’s musical The Addams Family. Although she is saddened to be participating in her last show, she is excited to see what comes next.
Kirsten Ellison, Art and Design, is so glad to be part of Stage Crew and Set Design for this year's musical. Kirsten, now a 7th grader, is thrilled to be part of this wonderful crew. After working on her first HS show, Puffs, she is pleased to help the crew here and looks forward to making it a tradition. She is also extremely glad that she gets to contribute to making such wonderful memories. Thanks everyone for their support, encouragement and hard work.
