Have you ever walked away from experiencing an art piece that truly changed you, motivated you, and made you want to be a better person; Encouraging you to move with intention and inspire change?

Cabaret did that for me when I first saw the revival on Broadway in 2024 and the show continuously moves audiences across the world over many years. Living in the world we live in today I realized how starved I’ve been creatively. Knowing I want to tell meaningful stories. Wanting our audiences to walk away inspired to educate themselves on what’s going on around them. Remembering that we can all do more. We are the change we’ve been longing to see and that many of our ancestors have fought for and dreamed of.

Getting to be a swing in PCPA’s production of Cabaret in 2024 was a highlight of my theatre career. Learning from my incredible director at the time, Emily Trask, made me realize just what our audiences needed. To be pushed. To see theatre that isn’t always comfortable, but needed. I’m forever grateful to my family, team, cast, crew and PRT for trusting me and asking me to take on and lead this piece.

I’m also grateful to you, our audience for coming to see our show that we’ve genuinely put our all into. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created. And I hope it motivates you to be the people we all know we can and should strive to be: empathetic, confrontational and present in the face of adversity. I believe in a fight for change, and hope this piece reminds you to strive for the same.
