 Director Bios 

Anthony West is a choral music teacher from the San Francisco Bay Area with a storied past in music performance. As a singer, Mr. West has toured the world to perform with ensembles in Utah, Oregon, New York, Hawaii, Italy, and Japan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music from Cal State East Bay where he worked to revive the vocal jazz program and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has also written and recorded his own studio album (Serendipity, 2010) and plays the guitar and piano in his spare time.

 

Myshia LeBoss, BFA, MEd, is committed to moving dance and somatic practices forward in California.  She is an Educator, former professional dancer and an advocate for the arts and humanity. She danced professionally for 10 years as a soloist and principal dancer with multiple LA-Based modern and ballet companies.  Her last two years as a soloist, she danced the role of Ms. Katherine Dunham, touring Nationally with Marshall Dance Company.  She is founder and Artistic Director of LeBossCoDance, est. 2014. Mrs. LeBoss has taught in the public school system, the private sector, and in the university setting. She has touched the lives of more than 3000 students over the last 18 years, by teaching them the art and love of dance.  She has developed dance programs and authored curriculum in LAUSD, PUHD, and the Perris Union High School District, where she currently teaches full time. This is Mrs. LeBoss’s 3rd musical with Paloma Valley High School (including Hello Dolly and Hairspray).    Other musical credits include The Wiz, and Jesus Christ Superstar.  Mrs. LeBoss is currently the Southern California President Elect of the California Dance Educator’s Association and the Director of Ethnic Minorities for the Perris Secondary Educators Association.  Mrs. LeBoss finds her passion in art and advocacy, and it is in this capacity that she shines.  She is grateful for the leadership and professionalism that she has experienced with her colleague and friend Staphanie Fomby.
