Director’s Note

WELCOME EVERYONE!!!

Many of us grew up watching The Addams Family TV show, or the delightful movies. And just as John Astin and Raul Julia led very different families into our hearts, this too is not the same story you have seen time and again. Sure, you still have all of Charles Adams’ brilliant characters; Gomez with all of his charisma, Morticia and her calm allure, the wise and quirky Fester and a mischievous Puglsey.

Our Wednesday, however is all grown up and has no intention of wreaking havoc at a children’s summer camp over the next two hours. This is your Addams Family, but a little older and wiser. Dealing with children growing up and getting ready to leave the protection of their parents’. We have parents who are trying to protect children from themselves while coping with the fact that they no longer can save their babies who are growing up way too fast. And children who are realizing that what they thought they wanted out of life, may not be what they really want, and that their parents might have know what they were talking about.

Regardless, this is a fun show and I think you are all in for a good time!
