Kathleen Mills
Composer/Lyricist/Bookwriter
Kathleen Mills (She/They) is a gender queer, LGBTQ+, composer, lyricist, bookwright, and performer who lives in Toronto. She has a strong passion for telling stories and a deep love for Canadian Musical Theatre. They are a recent graduate of Sheridan’s Honors Bachelor of Musical Theatre Performance program and has a focus in Writing for Musical Theatre. She strongly believes that art and theatre should be available to everyone and is excited to be part of the next generation of theatre performers, creators, and educators, working to make it even more accessible, safe, and inspiring!

Olivia Daniels
Director
Olivia Daniels (she/her) is thrilled to be a part of The Storyteller! She is a Canadian actor, director and producer, and holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Favorite credits: As a director - Small Mouth Sounds (AIR, Toronto premiere), The Krakow Chicken (BurlOak Theatre, NPF Best Director Award). As a performer - Beth in Merrily We Roll Along (New Studio on Broadway), Maeve in Blue Stockings (NYC premiere). Olivia is the co-founder of Artists in Residence, a theatrical platform supporting artists' mental health by providing opportunities for collaboration and community engagement. www.olivia-daniels.com

Joanna Mills
Music Director
Joanna's passion is music and singing. For 20 years, she was the director of the Roncesvalles Gospel Choir and has written and directed many original children's musicals. Pre-pandemic, she performed frequently in local festivals and clubs with her six-voice folkgrass ensemble North of Queen, and also sings with newchoir (Toronto’s premiere rock choir). Joanna is an award-winning songwriter (Songdoor, Song of the Year, ISSA) and arranger and her published works have been performed by choirs and bands all over the world. Trained formally in voice and piano, Joanna has sung in (and lead) various choirs, performed with the New Westminster Musical Theatre Guild, and teaches Musical Theatre, piano, and voice at her studio in Toronto, Ontario. Joanna is thrilled to be Music Director for The Storyteller and grateful to the whole cast and artistic team for keeping her feeling young!
