Founded 2012
Jacqueline Porter, Founding Artistic Director
The Dallas Youth Ballet ("DYB") is the official performing dance company of The Dallas Conservatory. DYB provides a nurturing environment where its members may grow as young artists and possible future professionals in the field of dance. DYB offers the highest caliber of performance training across the metroplex in multiple dance genres: ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, theatre dance, tap and hip hop. DYB engages regular guest choreographers and performing artists to provide rich material and inspiration for our dancers, affords bi-annual mainstage productions at Dallas City Performance Hall, and regularly performs outreach for the public at no charge in venues such as Klyde Warren Park, NorthPark, Children's Hospital, and retirement facilities and schools. The Dallas Youth Ballet is a 501c3 non-profit-pending company that relies on businesses and individuals for financial support.
