Dear Families, Friends, and Members of the Pelham community,
Welcome, and thank you for joining us for our production of Into the Woods Jr. This show has been an exciting and meaningful journey for our students, and we are so proud to share it with you.
Into the Woods Jr. weaves together familiar fairy tales, taking us beyond “happily ever after” to explore choices, consequences, and the importance of community. Throughout the rehearsal process, our cast and crew have not only learned music, choreography, and staging, but also discovered what it means to collaborate, take creative risks, and support one another.
This group of middle school students has shown remarkable dedication, creativity, and resilience. From memorizing lines and songs to building sets and working behind the scenes, every student has played an important role in bringing this story to life. Their growth—both onstage and off—has been truly inspiring to witness.
A production like this would not be possible without the support of many people. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our administrators, faculty, and volunteers for their time and encouragement, as well as to our families for their continued support of the arts. Most importantly, thank you to our students for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to step “into the woods” together.
We hope you enjoy the show and leave reminded that while the woods may be dark and full of challenges, we are never alone when we face them together.
Sincerely,
Cameron Stewart
