Darrin Peters (Director)

Darrin is excited to direct "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" with the Pennsville Drama Club.  He is thankful to have a very talented cast of performers and a dedicated artistic team to help with this production. In addition to working in Pennsville, Darrin serves as the resident choreographer for Young People’s Theatre Workshop in Swarthmore, PA. He teaches acting, singing, dancing and musical comedy classes. He also serves as instructor and overnight counselor for the YPTW Summer Theatre Camp held at Eastern College. He has directed/choreographed over 25 different musicals, including "Hello, Dolly!," "Oklahoma!," "Fiddler on the Roof," "State Fair," "Annie," "The Music Man," "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "The Producers." As a singer/actor/dancer, Darrin has performed locally and professionally in musical theatre since 1987. Some of his favorite roles include Bill in "Me and My Girl," Frankie in "Forever Plaid," Bobby in "Crazy for You," Roger in "The Producers," George Cohan in "George M.," Danny in "Baby," Jesus in "Godspell" and Don Lockwood in "Singin’ in the Rain." Darrin hopes you enjoy this production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" as much as he has enjoyed working on it.

Theresa Hooks (Music Director)

Theresa has been a music teacher for 17 years. Before coming to Pennsville, she taught music at Orchard Valley Middle School in Washington Township for seven years. While there, she was the director and music director of all the school musicals. Some of these include "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown," "Annie" and "Fiddler on the Roof." Since coming to Pennsville, she has co-directed the Summer Theater Program that she and Mr. Peters started eight years ago. This program has produced such musicals as "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid" and "Alice in Wonderland."  In addition to teaching, Theresa has performed locally with Oakwood Summer Theater and has served on their Board of Directors. Some of her favorite roles include Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof," Leisel in "The Sound of Music," Meg in "Damn Yankees" and Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz." This is the fourth year Theresa has been music director  for the high school musical here in Pennsville and she is ecstatic about being part of this year’s production of "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Maria Byers (Co-Choreographer)

Maria is pleased as punch to be working on "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama from the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. When not at PMHS, she choreographs and teaches at Young People's Theater Workshop and Fireworks Dance Center. Some favorite shows she's choreographed include "Bye Bye Birdie" (PMHS), "The Producers" (PCS), "Hercules" (PMHS), "The Little Mermaid" (PMHS) and "Alice in Wonderland" (PMHS). Next, she looks forward to choreographing the YPTW spring production of "Anything Goes." She would like to thank everyone involved in this production for all of their hard work! Happiness is being here with you!

Aaron Yangello (Assistant Director)

Aaron is beyond ecstatic to be back at Pennsville. Aaronn says, "It's really interesting to be on the other side of the production." You’ve seen Aaron right here on Pennsville’s stage as the Cat in the Hat in "Seussical," Sebastian in "The Little Mermaid" and Albert in "Bye Bye Birdie." “It means so much to finally give back to the program that has given so much to me.” Aaron wants to thank the entire cast, crew and production staff for making this such an AMAZING experience. "This show won't be anything less than the best production you've ever seen, so ENJOY!"
