There are some stories that almost everyone knows. The classics that most can recite by rote. These stories are endearing in their familiarity. They make us feel comfortable, like an old pair of slippers.
In adapting this Christmas classic, my partner-in-crime, Piper J. Distel and I were careful to stay true to the book. The question became- 'how can we stay true but also put our own mark on this story?' We decided that this tale was the perfect one to be set to music, so we set out to write fifteen original songs that would compliment this holiday favourite. We sincerely hope you enjoy our efforts.
