Ric Andersen as EUGENE
Ric is pleased to be back with PTP. Two years ago he moved to Central Virginia after performing with numerous professional and community theaters in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. For the past 20 years, Ric has also been a troupe member of Precipice Improv Theatre, improvising full-length comedic plays. He also performs with Old School Improv in Richmond. He was most recently seen in Deathtrap here at PTP, The Sunshine Boys at River City Community Players, The Vagrant at Waterworks Players, and A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play at Victory Hall Players.
Sage Tanguay as CHARLOTTE
Sage is super allergic to dogs and works as a producer for WTJU 91.1 FM and Brown College at the University of Virginia. You may recognize her as Helga Ten Dorp from PTP's Deathtrap, Lana Sherwood from the 2023 Victory Hall Players performance of A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play, or from some obscure and generally unsettling post-modern dance performances at UVa ten years ago. She’s also performed in plays at the Capitol Fringe Festival and the Historic Masonic Theatre in Clifton Forge, Virginia. Sage spends her free time writing fantasy, reading fanfiction, and gossiping at cafes.
Toby Irwin as ROBERT
Toby has had a love for acting since he was young. While this is his first time being in a show with Persimmon Tree Players, he has been in multiple shows across the years. Some of his most recent roles include Malachi Stack in The Matchmaker, Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher, and an ensemble member in Mama Mia. When he isn't performing on stage, he can be found reading, cooking up a storm, and practicing the guitar.
Catherine Gilbert as BELLA
Catherine Gilbert is a 2019 graduate of George Mason University (Magna Cum Laude) with a BFA in Theatre - Performance. She has performed in numerous theatrical productions and several short films. Her favorite credits include Anne de Bourgh in Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley with Live Arts, Irina in Three Sisters with the Wayne Theater, Mote in Love Labour’s Lost with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, and Katurian in The Pillowman. She has been a teaching artist and educator since 2016, and loves passing on the joy of theatre and storytelling to future generations. Her dog, Persephone, is her pride and joy, and has been an inspiration during the entire rehearsal process.
Andrea Kojan as SUZANNE
Andrea is thrilled to be back onstage performing with all the wonderfully talented actors and crew in this show! Last seen as Marlafaye Mosley in Persimmon Tree Players Savannah Sipping Society, Andrea has previously performed as Cheryl in PTP’s Love, or Best Offer, Sorel Bennett in Death by Design, and Toby in Duets, as well as various characters in Victory Hall Players' It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Offstage, Andrea is often found enjoying local wineries, volunteering in and around Fluvanna County, or just relaxing at home with her newest "doggy daughter" Cocoa. Andrea continues to be incredibly grateful to her wonderful theatre family for helping her to be able to do what she loves the most!
