From the Director's Chair
And so another musical takes the Phil-Mont stage! This year we tackled a big show - Hello, Dolly! We knew we had the talent, a great story, and a team abounding with creativity. However, we also knew we’d be fighting time (Thanksgiving the earliest it can be and an extended season for our soccer guys), space (our stage SO tiny and our backstage non-existent), and budget (costuming forty-two performers multiple times!). But God is faithful and our kids are strong and focused. Balancing academics, rehearsals, family, church, clubs… it’s good training for the future and drives us to our knees in the present.
We pray you will enjoy the show. We have enjoyed preparing it - solving problems, juggling schedules, and finding the beauty in the script. Now we are ready to share. It’s time to say “Hello” to Dolly! - Will Liegel
