A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Hi everyone, and thanks for coming to our production tonight! I always like to give you, the audience, a shout out because without you we'd just be doing a performance for a bunch of empty seats. So, thank you for you choosing to come out tonight and support our young performers. And for supporting performing arts in our school and your community. It's as important as ever to support the arts and performing arts.
We typically don't think of Marvel characters as being on the stage. We've seen them in the movies and in television shows. But recently the folks at Marvel branched out into live theatre. These two plays are part of a trilogy of plays (the other being "Squirrel Girl") that Marvel created for high school actors. The characters are familiar, and the stories are geared toward high schoolers. The messages are important and hopefully resonate with audiences.
We have been working hard since December to bring you this evening of Marvel plays, and we hope that you enjoy it! Thanks again for supporting Theatre in our school and your community! We hope to see you back on May 6 for the Senior-written and directed FINAL ACTS!
