  • Loly Lopez

    Director

    Ms. Loly has studied under the tutelage of Narciso Figueroa (L'Ecole Normal de Musique), Mary Tortorich (Juilliard), Beverly Sills (N.Y.Met Opera), Idalia Perez Garay (RADA, UK), and others. After retiring from the professional stage, she has dedicated herself to coach and prepare students in voice and theater. Her students have competed at a regional, state, and national levels, obtaining Superiors and Excellents. Some of her students have continued to study music and theater in the Manhattan School of Music, USC, AADA in L.A. and NYC, Stella Adler in NYC, Carnegie Mellon, Tish/NYU, Juilliard, and the Royal Shakespeare Company's summer acting program in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Some of her Director's credits are Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, among others.

  • Daniel Saniger

    Movement Director

    It’s been almost 20 years since Daniel began his training as an actor, studying in institutions such as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in L.A., Florida International University – where he received his BFA in Performance, Stella Adler in New York, and the Royal Shakespeare Company in England; learning from artists such as Freddick Bratcher, Judy Ann Bassing, Bill Irwin, Davis Gaines, Bev Leech, and Graeme Brookes. The list of performances ranges from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Two Gentlemen from Verona”, and “Macbeth”, to more contemporary works like “All My Sons” by Arthur Miller, “12 Angry Men” by Reginald Rose, and “La Nona” by Roberto Cossa, to musicals like “The Lion King”, “Sweet Charity”, and “Seussical”, to name a few. Daniel is currently rehearsing for “En el Abismo” by Ilisa Rosal, a flamenco-style play adaptation of Emily Bronte’s famous novel “Wuthering Heights”.

  • Luisa Hernandez

    Stage Manager

    Luisa Hernandez is a Junior at Pinecrest Glades Academy. This is her first year in Valyrian Bards as a backstage crew member. She was the stage manager in the Winter Holiday Show and is the assistant director to Ms.Loly. For Midsummer Night’s Dream Ms. Hernandez will be the stage manager. 

    Luisa would like to thank Ms.Loly and Daniel Saniger for believing in everyone and for all the hard work that they put into making this show possible. Luisa would also like to thank her family and all of her friends for believing in her and for inspiring her in her everyday life.
