Dear audience, cast, crew, and all of our sponsors,
First and foremost, I would like to thank every single hand that played a piece in this production. I am the luckiest person in the world to be surrounded by so many people who want to ensure my success with every crazy plot I dream up. You all make my dreams a reality – a feat that not everyone can say they conquer.
The support from the community is unbelievable. Thank you to all those who purchased ads in the playbill or a sponsorship package. You put faith into a mysterious script and I am beyond grateful for that.
To my family – Mom, Dad, Roxy, Drew, Rene, George, Chris, Vincent, and Vin O -- you have fostered an environment that truly allows me to prosper. I know my vision doesn't always seem clear, but you support it anyway. I hope watching this play makes you proud, because I wouldn’t be who I am without you.
To the village – Alyssa, Nicole, Kayla, Terrell, Sierra, Jasmin, Chantel, Elizabeth, Erica, and Sara. You all believe in me and Matt’s impulsive proposals so much that it fills me with confidence. Without you all, I could never accomplish half of my journeys. All “our kids” – Jiovanni, Koko, Amora, Aleya, Jeyla, Ava, Arlo, Lennox, Joshua, Alexander, Julius, Johnny, Jase, Leanne, Laila, Logan, Morgan, Zach, and Emma – Titi Bella and Uncle Matt love you SO MUCH!
Thank you to Jen and Lani for giving our murder mysteries a home at The Barking Goose. Thanks for always taking a chance on me.
My amazing cast and crew – I have watched you transform the ideas in me and Matt’s head onto a stage. I watch you all perform and can’t help but smile and think “I can’t believe these talented actors want to be in OUR show.” You amazed me each and every day we’ve spent together and I know the sky is the limit for all of you. I have not taken our time together for granted and wish all the blessings your way. And don’t forget to think of me and Matt when you’re on Broadway or in Hollywood.
Barry, Steve and the Yorktown Stage team – your guidance and expertise have been a godsend. Thank you for everything (and dealing with all my questions and emails). It has been a pleasure working with you all.
And of course, my life, creative, and business partner Matthew. In our 16 years together, we have journeyed on many endeavors. But this one is definitely one of my favorites. The way your mind works still amazes me all these years later. Without you, none of the characters or ambiance would exist. You laid the foundation for this story and I just filled it in. You have fully assimilated into my world of nerdom and spontaneity. I know that it's not easy being with someone like me, but you do it and you make me a better person than I could have ever been without you.
Well there’s that. Don’t let a writer get a hold of the keyboard because it’s obvious I cannot stop. Enjoy the show everyone! I hope watching it gives you the same feeling I have had creating it.
