If you've made it this far, thanks! Bios and acknowledgements are hard for me, because I don't think any of this is about me at all. So I'm just going to write exactly what I'm feeling right now.
First off, thank you for coming to the show. For spending time with this zany, weird, but beautiful group of people I like to call my friends. I will be forever grateful for all the early mornings and late nights spent putting this together - and the hangs that came with it.
If you know me, you know I like to say that time isnt' real. To an extent, I don't think it is. But what I think I really mean by this is we - collectively, as people, put so much emphasis on time. Our deadlines. Our calendars. What remains. Honestly. It doesn't matter. It's going to pass anyway. What does matter are the moments we share with the people around us. So go on and kiss your partner, call your parents, hug your best friend. Whatever you do, make the most of it.
Wanted to acknowledge Gabe Grier, who started as my teacher and has since become a great mentor and friend. Gabe has pushed me - he pushes all of us - to be the best possible actors we can be. And subsequently the best people we can be as well. Gabe, you are truly the dog's bollocks.
A special thank you to Playhouse West, and all the faculty and staff, for creating a space where actors can learn Meisner's technique while feeling safe and supported.
Mom and Dad, thank you for helping me become the person I am today.
And lastly, to my own family - Leah, Parker, Lachlan, and Banjo. You are my world. Forever and ever.
