    Rachel Jones

    Director

    Rachel Jones arrives at Pope High School after working in the Alliance Theatre education department for nine years as a teaching artist and administrator. Her directing credits include The Man of La Mancha (Brewton-Parker College) and No Exit (Impulse Reparatory Theatre). After earning her MFA in theatre from Savannah College of Art and Design, she worked with several notable Atlanta directors including Rosemary Newcott and Justin Anderson. She has worked on productions for Synchronicity Theatre, Aurora Theatre, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Rachel treasures the opportunity to support students as they thrive and grow into the young adults they are meant to be and looks forward to building the drama program at Pope High School. She is beyond proud of this project and hopes you enjoy the show!

    Assistant Director

    Jordan Gettys is a senior at Pope this year, and she is so excited to be a part of her 8th Pope production! She is especially excited to have the opportunity to assistant direct! She would like to thank her friends and family for their endless support! She would also like to thank Mrs. Jones for giving her this opportunity! And finally, she would like to thank you for coming to see this show! So sit back, relax, and enjoy "Property Rites."

    Jeff Costello

    Scenic Designer

    As a drama teacher’s son, Jeff was involved in theatre since Elementary School. He found his true passion in the theatre world as a light tech and designer in High School. At Greensboro College, he concentrated in lighting and scenic design. He has worked with such groups as Onstage Atlanta, Dad’s Garage Theatre, Full Circle Lighting, Hi Tech A/V, CenterStage North Theatre, and other community theatres. He is the Assistant Technical Director for the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre. He’s done lighting, sound and staging for National Touring acts such as Marty Stuart, Loose Ends, The Whispers, and Fred Hammond among others. Jeff’s theatre credits include lighting, sound or scenic design for: "Willy Wonka, Jr.", High School Musical, Honk!, Shrek the Musical, Chicago: High School Edition, "Alice in Wonderland," Footloose and many more. Being able to come back to his old high school and work with these students has been a joy and a fantastic experience!
