Kathy Mead

Producer

Kathy has been a continuous member of the Port Tobacco Players for 29 years, and has been producing PTP shows for the past 15.  This is her first time producing a virtual show, and she says it has been an interesting experience!  Kathy is a retired Federal employee and a part-time adjunct faculty member for the College of Southern Maryland.  She is otherwise known as Nana.

Ben Simpson

Director

Ben has been performing, directing, and choreographing at PTP for the past 10 years. Directing: Guys and Dolls; Sister Act; Sound of Music; Calendar Girls; See How They Run. Choreography: White Christmas; Fiddler on the Roof; Godspell. Acting: Robert (Boeing, Boeing); Harold Hill (The Music Man); Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing). Lees-McRae College, Musical Theatre & Dance

Brian Kuhn

Music Director

Brian is so grateful for the opportunity to music direct PTP's first virtual musical.  The talented cast and crew made this experience so enjoyable.  Brian teaches choir at St. Charles High School, and was recently named Charles County's nominee for Washington Post Teacher of the Year.  He would like to send love to his girls, Becky, Josie, and Delaney.
