Disney's Beauty and the Beast - May 04 - May 06, 2018

Prairie Heights Sr High Sch

 Acknowledgements

With a show this large, there are sooooooo many people to thank!  There is no way I could have done this by myself.

First off, thank you to my husband, Chuck, for giving me the freedom to do this.  I love you!!

Secondly, to my directing teams - both high school and middle school.  Kayli -without you, we would have no music. Amber - without you, there would be no dance numbers.  Mike - without you, I would not have gotten much done.  You have jumped in to help everywhere!  TJ - without you, there would be no set.  Middle school team - you have been amazing!  Sheila - you are the queen of publicity!  You managed all of that and the ticket sales fabulously.  Chris & Amber - you both have been my constant calm.  Any tasks that need done, you jump in and make it happen, sometimes before I even realize I needed it done!  You are all such a blessing!  I cannot express how much I appreciate each and every one of you.

When we called for a building weekend, so many people popped in to help.  From sewing to painting, building to cleaning, the amount that was accomplished in those short build days was fantastic!  Thank you to DJ Reed for coming in and planning out all the enchanted objects' costumes!  Reuben Albaugh, Becky Travis, Julia Woheter, Shanan Staton, Melissa Wylie, Mike Mullen, Monaca Alwine, Lori McGraw, Sara Porter, Marti Walchuk, Lisa Terry, Martha Myers, Laura Phillips, Josh Phillips, Lindsay Sprunger, and Amber Ellert - thank you all for your work on the costumes!  This show is so full of crazy and fun costumes that it would be impossible to do without all of your help.

So many props pieces and items to make, and Chris Ellert, you tackled so many of them.  Thank you!  George Foley, thank you for your ideas, support, and donations!  Thank you, Mark and Michelle Rheinheimer for your donations and time!

To all of you helping backstage during rehearsals or shows - Melissa Wylie, Laura Phillips, Ashley Peck, Betta Sutton, Jill Winkle, Lori McGraw, MacKenna McGraw, Lindsay Sprunger.

Once again, we were in need of a large number of books for the library, and once again, the Ark Paws and Claws Bookstore came to our rescue!  Thank you to them and to Tia and Josh Smith for arranging the donation!

Thank you to the PH Theatre Alumni for your support and backing.

Thank you to Kevin Heller of Heller Magic for your ideas and inspirations.

We wouldn't have an audience if people didn't know about the show.  Thank you to WLKI-100.3, WTHD-105.5, and Swick Broadcasting for interviewing our students on air and spreading the word about the show!  Thank you also to KPC Media Group for running articles on our show!

This show, we have so many kids onstage and backstage that we needed help manning the doors and lobby.  A huge thank you to PH Football, PH Softball, and the Tri-County Youth League for serving as ushers.

We are excited to have Indiana State Representative Dr. Denny Zent joining us for our Sunday performance.  Thank you, Dr. Zent, for your support for our program and representing us in Indy!

Thank you to Bronson High School Theatre for sharing with us your ideas and inspirations.

So much of what we do in this theatre wouldn't be possible without the support of the parents and involved community members. The Supporting Cast is our theatre booster group, without whom we would be sorely lacking in so many areas!  Thank you to all of you who have attended a meeting, helped raise funds, provided food, worked a shift, and gathered needed supplies!

Lastly, thank you to all the parents who let us borrow your children for all these rehearsals and have listened to these songs over and over again!  Without your willingness to allow these kids to practice at all sorts of odd hours, we couldn't have possibly pulled this off!  These students are fantastic!

I hope you all enjoy these performances.  The experiences theatre provides teaches so many life skills that just can't be taught in the classroom.  Thank you for coming and supporting live theatre out in the middle of the corn fields!
