Melanie Hansen
has performed onstage since 4 years old. She was first featured singing with Miss Suzie from Sesame Street and danced till age of 14. She is a professionally trained singer and performer who performs nationally. She studied Vocal and musicianship locally and in NYC focusing on vocal strength training and performance till age 22. Mrs. Hansen performed in many musicals such as Cinderella Jr., A Christmas Carol, Davey Crockett, Annie (Tess), 42nd Street (Hot Box Dancer), Guys and Dolls (Dime Dancer). She has auditioned for Star Search, the Voice, & American Idol. Mrs. Hansen has directed Cinderella. Wizard of OZ, Beauty & the Beast, Elf and Legally Blonde Jr. and was choreographer for Once Upon a Mattress. Mrs. Hansen is a Technical Computer Analyst & Director of the Musicals for Damascus & Preston Schools and is proud to be directing Aladdin Jr.

Erin Canedy
is the music and band teacher for Preston Area School and the elementary chorus teacher for Damascus Area School. She is a piano and voice teacher as well as Musical Director for Preston School. She has done music for Cinderella Jr and now Aladdin Jr.

Jason Smith
is an Art Teacher at Wayne Highlands School District for the past 10 years. Currently he is teaching Art classes at Damascus and Preston School. In his ten years of teaching, he has been set designer each year for both middle school and high school musical productions. Mr. Smith has designed sets for Honk, Pirates of Penzance, The King and I, Once Upon a Mattress, Suessical, Willy Wonka, Thoroughly Modern Mille, Bugsy Malone, Little Shop of Horrors, Flat Stanley, Boradway Melodies, Shrek, Beauty & the Beast, Schoolhouse Rock, Little Mermaid and is the current set designer for Aladdin.

Fred Smith
is head of Maintenance at Damascus School. Mr . Smith has been involved in musicals for the past four years. He has done set construction design for Cinderella Jr, Wizard of Oz, Beauty & the Beast, Elf Jr, Legally Blonde Jr and is now building for Aladdin Jr. In his free time he leads as Scoutmaster for the Dan Beard District and has a boy scout and cub scout troop under his leadership.
