Kyle Pleasant
(Direction/Choreography)
Kyle is the resident choreographer at Rosie’s Theater Kids. He is on faculty, at Marymount Manhattan College and PPAS. Kyle is the Assistant Program Director to Chet Walker at the Jacobs Pillow Jazz Dance Program and previously at The Boston Ballet School. Select directorial and choreographic work includes Chicago, Ragtime, West Side Story, H2$, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Sweet Charity, Hello, Dolly! and Urinetown. . His work has been seen at New York City Center, MoMa, and The Vineyard Arts Project, the OWN Network, ABC’s The View and at The White House for First Lady Michelle Obama. He is a Broadway World Boston and National Youth Theater Award Winner for Direction and Choreography. Pleasant holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory. www.kylepleasant.com -
Brett Kristofferson
(Music Direction) Brett is a New York based teaching artist, composer/lyricist, and music director. He has music directed twelve mainstage musicals at PPAS, including GYPSY, SWEENEY TODD, CABARET, and HELLO DOLLY! Other affiliations include Rosie’s Theater Kids, Wingspan Arts, and Marymount Manhattan College. He currently serves on the production staff of Stomping Ground Theatre Company. His musical, CLOSER THAN YOU THINK was premiered by Strange Sun with direction by Jessica Bashline and choreography by Kyle Pleasant. He is the recipient of a MAC Award for Best Song, and a New York Bistro Award for Special Achievement in Songwriting.

Katie Donnelly
(Stage Manager) This is Katie's 1st year working with PPAS and she is so thrilled to be here! She has been working as a stage manager and actor for almost 20 years and is loving being back in an educational environment. She would like to thank Brad, Kyle, and Brett for the opportunity. She would also like to thank this amazing cast who has worked so hard to tell this story and does so beautifully! Enjoy the show!
