 The Directors 

Mrs. Abbey Maxwell is excited to join the Fine Arts Department at Ravenscroft. Prior to this position, she taught high school Theatre at Franklin Academy in Wake Forest. She holds a BA in Theatre from Meredith College. Mrs. Maxwell has directed multiple shows and musicals for Franklin Academy, and also served on the board of Forest Moon Theater. She teaches MS Drama and US Stagecraft

along with Mr. Sharp. Mrs. Maxwell resides in Wake Forest with her husband, Dave, and enjoys traveling to new places, eating new foods, playing board games, and trying to cultivate a green thumb.

 

 


 

 

Mrs. Cameron Bolin is a trained pianist, vocalist, conductor and educator, and currently the Choral Director for grades 6-12 as well as the Coordinator of Private Lessons. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, as well as a Master of Arts in Music Education, K-12 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to her joining Ravenscroft in 2011, she was the Choral and Musical Theatre Director at Trinity Academy of Raleigh. She has taught a private piano studio for 17 years and has performed as a pianist throughout the Triangle. Mrs. Bolin is a member of MTNA, NCMEA and RPTA. She was the recipient of the Qubain Award for Teaching Excellence from Ravenscroft in 2013. Mrs. Bolin lives in Raleigh with her husband, Scott, and son, Taylor, who also loves music.

 

 


 

Mr. Jason Sharp holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory. He has acted and directed around the Triangle with Justice Theatre Project, Theatre in the Park, Theatre of the American South, Stage Struck!, Raleigh Ensemble Players, The City of Cary at Koka Booth, Exit to Eden, and Theatre Raleigh. In addition to working in a technical capacity with the theatre program at Vance-Granville Community College, Mr. Sharp is serving his 15th year as Drama Instructor at Ravenscroft School, where he was awarded the Qubain Award for Teaching Excellence. He is very proud of the work that went into this production and all the wonderful people who helped make it happen.
