Joe Backer
as Charlie Cowell
Joe is excited to play the role of Charlie Cowell. He is very happen to spend the summer with Daughter Amanda and son-in-law Daniel Lappin (the piano man) and the rest of the cast and crew. Director Julie McDaniel is doing a great job! So break a leg everyone.

Christopher Gilbert
as Traveling Salesman
Christopher will be a senior at Raytown South High School. Music Man is his first production with the Raytown Arts Council. Since 2011 he has acted in productions throughout each school year and summer with various groups. Christopher plans to pursue acting and directing through a theatre degree in college.

Moe Graenser
as Traveling Salesman
Moe is happy to be a part of The Music Man, his 6th show with the Raytown Arts Council, though Shipoopie will more than likely be stuck in his head for the next three months. Moe’s most recent roles had him puttin’ on the ritz as Bob the Astrologer in Young Frankenstein, practicing spelling in Oklahoma, and learning the nuances of the “hair flip” while donning a wig as Angel in Rent. Moe would like to thank Julie McDaniel for casing him and once again giving him such a wonderful opportunity.

This is John's third production in which he has been involved with the Raytown Arts Council and is proud to be on stage with his dad, Pete. John hopes you enjoy the show!
