    Director

    Jeannette serves on the RCT Board of Directors and has been involved in many RCT shows as a performer and choreographer. Last year she directed the RCT hit musicals SHREK and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY. She is a retired Reading School District math teacher and the co-founder and co-director of the YNOT Awards program of Berks County. She is also the director of Reading High School’s school show where she just celebrated her 40th anniversary of involvement with this activity! "I love the school show and my show kids as much now as I did all those many years ago.” She is the proud mom of Angela, our choreographer! "Thank you to my amazing creative team and my fabulously talented cast! I am honored and humbled to be given this wonderful opportunity to work with such a talented, dedicated and professional group of adults and students! It truly has been a fun, memorable and rewarding experience! Thank you for the memories and for taking this journey with me! Much love."

    Assistant to the Director

    This is Amy’s first time on the other side of the stage and she’s thrilled to be making her directorial debut at Reading Civic working with the great Jeannette DeAngelo! Amy most recently appeared in RCT’s funny parody of hits, Forbidden Broadway and before that she appeared in several shows including South Pacific and as Margy in State Fair. It’s truly an honor to work with such talented youth!

    Amanda Delbo

    Music Director

    Amanda Delbo is thrilled to be working with the spectacular cast and production staff of Reading Civic Theatre’s Les Miserables! In addition to her work at RCT, Amanda has music-directed numerous musical theater productions with the former Alpha/Omega Players and at Exeter Township Senior High School. Amanda is also a member of the Board of Directors for the 1st Street Players in Birdsboro. Additionally, she has performed in numerous musical theater productions, with favorite roles including: Maria in The Sound of Music, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Frl. Schneider in Cabaret, and Mark’s Mom/”Seasons of Love” soloist in Rent. Amanda has been a music educator for ten years, and is currently the Choral Music Director at Exeter Township Senior High School.
